The word menopause doesn’t exactly sound appealing to many women. Yet it’s an important and beautiful phase in every woman’s life—a transition into a new chapter.

Did you know that symptoms can already begin in your late thirties? There’s absolutely no shame in that, and you’re definitely not alone—quite the opposite.

Recognize the symptoms

When there’s a hormonal imbalance, your body often sends out various signals—easy to recognize (and just as easy to ignore). Do any of these sound familiar?

  • You've gained weight, but no matter what you do, the extra kilos won’t budge?
  • Has your cycle changed, and are PMS symptoms suddenly showing up or getting worse
  • Do you suffer from (intense) headaches or muscle and joint pain?
  • Are mood swings, a restless feeling (with heart palpitations), excessive sweating, and low energy becoming part of your daily routine?
  • Has your libido dropped to freezing point?
  • Have you noticed changes in your skin? Like breakouts, oily skin, dryness, or itching?

Who is Esther?

That’s me—nice to meet you. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a genuine passion for exercise, healthy eating, and maintaining a good work-life balance. During and after my two back-to-back pregnancies, I became even more conscious of my lifestyle. Everything I ate or drank affected not just me, but the development and future health of my children.

I also struggled quite a bit with hormonal fluctuations after giving birth, and finding the right balance again was a meaningful challenge. Along the way, I learned that everyone has their own unique lifestyle—and what works well for one person doesn’t necessarily work for someone else. After a lot of searching, experimenting, and fine-tuning, I finally discovered what works for me. Then and still now.
